Busy summer golf schedule has led to many rounds at even par and numerous rounds under par, scoring 67-71. Currently top ten in Springfield Men's City Tourney standings, with final two rounds to be played this weekend, August 6-7. Won Springfield Men's City High School Division with rounds of 73, 73, 146 total.

Austin was medalist at the D.A. Weibring Invitational at Quincy’s Westview Golf Course with a 74. Austin was medalist with an even par 72 at the Greenview/Country Hills Regional and placed tied for 6th at the Monmouth/Gibson Woods Sectional with a 79. Austin placed third this past weekend at the IHSA 1A State Tournament with a two day total of 152 (80, 72). The even par round on Saturday was the low round of the day.
