General Basketball InformationRaheem Tyner might be the best kept secret in Minnesota. He has a strong build which allows for him to get the bucket and absorb contact. He is a physical 6’6 Small forward with the game of a D1 Senior He is able to score from anywhere on the floor. Tyner plays the slashing game and driving game he’s a very physical player that’s not afraid of contact Tyner can also step out beyond the arc and knock it down with consistency. Tyner has started varsity since his freshmen year he attends Robbinsdale Cooper high school and won the conference title three years and running. Tyner has proven himself to be a great Small forward. He combines good explosiveness off the floor with a deadly stroke from behind the arc. He is much more of a streak shooter with terrific range who can go off and hit four or five in a row. Tyner has a strong compact body to have advantage over players in High School. He uses his strength to explode to the rim while finishing with Explosive Dunks on straight line drives or create space on one dribble pull-ups. He does a good job sprinting the floor putting him in good position for pitch ahead shots from behind the arc. Defensively, his first mentality is Rebound box out very great rebounder by using his physicality and strength. This summer Tyner had some monstrous games against some of the best players in the country while playing with Howard Pulley Panthers in tournaments in Kansas City, Milwaukee, Indiana, and Iowa.
