Matt Castaneda - Baseball Player

I began playing baseball at the age of 9, playing on the East Meadow Williamsport Team. For 3 consecutive years we became District 32 Champions (9yr-10yr 2004, 11yr 2005 and 12yr 2006) along with winning many highly competitive baseball tournaments. In 2004 9-10 year old Division: Plainview Tournament Champs, HBQVB Tournament Champs. In 2005- 11 Yr old- Floral Park Tournament Champs, Oceanside Tournament Champs. In Middle School, I was selected MVP for 7th and 8th Grade Baseball for Woodland Middle School. AS a young player I have always played up in many divisions. In 2008 I played on the SSBA/ Team Rawlings winning the Diamond Pros/LIBA 15/16 fall title with an undefeated 14 win season at the age of 14. In 2008 -Baseball Heaven East Coast Nationals Champions, 2008- Cal Ripken Baseball runner-up. In 2009 we became part of Long Island Ducks Organization.
