Kyle Windover's High School Wrestling Stats and Info
General Wrestling InformationI decided to join the wrestling team my 10th grade year and i'm really glad I did. I got beat up pretty good my 10th grade season, went to some camps and wrestled club my junior season and picked up a few wins and placed 5th at the League Tourney. I went to some more camps and wrestled club my Senior Season and improved dramtically picking up several wins and came one win and one point away from placing 5th at the Section 3 Class C Tourney. I had remarkable leadership skills that my coachs, teammates, and friends liked most about me, and I was always positive and supportive of my teammates. We were all like a giant family and become very close. Senior Wrestling Stats and InfoGeneral Senior Wrestling InfoHad a Dramatic Season. Went 12-15, fought through a tough shoulder injury through the end of the season, missed leagues and my Senior Night due to it but still wrestled in the class tourney earning myself a first round come from behind pin before losing 4-3 in the last match of my career. Went 3-2 at the Sandy Creek Duals, 4-1 at the Lewis County Duals. Biggest Highlight of my Senior Season was when I was getting pinned while trailing to IHC and I reversed my opponent and pinned him, giving our team the 39-24 Victory. I wrestled at 112 pounds all year and I only weighed 105 but there was a screw up with certifications so I had to wrestle 112 so I was outweighed by many of my opponents but still found ways to win! Received The Thomas J McCue Most Improved Wrestler Award and The Charlie Terrillion Wrestling Scholarship. I was also named Wrestler of the Week for the my performance at the Sandy Creek Duals.
