About Jade Sanlin
Jade is a 28-Year-Old Grad. at Althoff Catholic High School in Belleville, Illinois. She currently focuses on one sport, Volleyball.
Personal: Born April 23, 1996 - Daughter of Stephen and Deborah Sanlin - I have an older sister named Nicolette Sanlin who played volleyball for Marshall University 2001 – 2005 and she is currently the Men’s Head Coach/Women’s Assistant at McKendree University in Lebanon, IL. I like to major in either Forensic Science or Criminology.
High School Academics: I am ranked 23 out of 100 students in my class and hold a 3.5 unweight GPA on a 4.0 scale; ACT 22. I am a member of the National JSociety of High School Scholars, enrolled in a college preparatory curriculum, involved in the Crusaders Against Alcohol and Drugs organization at school, Student Council, St. Vincent DePaul Club, and Student Ambassador.
High School Athletics: I had two coaches “Lisa Orlet†as a FR and “Sara Thomas†SO, JR and SR. I am a scholar athlete earning four Varsity letters, 2013 BSN Nike All-Tournament Team; 1st Team South Seven All Conference; Belleville News-Democrat Class 3A-4A Volleyball All-Area Team Honorable Mention. I also competed in track (relays, 100, and 200 meter).
I’ve played six rotation and Libero positions during High School and started Varsity my freshman season all 70 games. I had a season injury my sophomore year and returned to play during club season. I helped Althoff to a three year South Seven Conference Title, City Championship and Two Year Regional Championships. I am ranked number one in Digs and Serve Receives as the starting Libero my senior year; ranking third in Digs (349/avg 6.58) and first in receive (192/100%) in the STL High School Sport Volleyball Area leaders http://stats.stlhighschoolsports.com/sports/volleyballgirls/stats/default.php.
Club: I’ve played for STL High Performance Volleyball Club since I was nine years olds as a six rotation player until age 17 playing as the starting Libero. I’ve played in multiple qualifiers, AAU and USAV Junior Nationals; I was selected to participate in the USAV SA3 program twice 2010 and 2011.
Personals: Hobbies include reading, playing piano, like to work out and hang out with my friends
