Daniel Uhlir - Hockey Player

Dan played defense for Carmel's varsity team. His team played in the upper bracket of the Metro Central division. His team was played in the Stevenson Invitational over Thanksgiving and was invited to participate in the AHAI Blackhawk's Charity Tournament over the holidays. Carmel competed for both the Scholastic Cup and made the state playoffs seeding 14th in the state.

Dan played varsity starting out as a forward. His team lost a defenseman at the beginning of the season due to concussion. Dan was asked to play defense. Carmel won the Founders Cup again this year, qualified to begin round robin for All-metro, and qualified for the State playoffs. Carmel made it to the quarter finals for state in the white division. Dan played both defense and forward for Carmel varsity and defense for a AA midget major spring team, the Avalanche over the spring.

Dan was double-rostered at the beginning of the season and then was frozen varsity. He played forward and was one of the top scorers in the Metro Northwest division. Carmel won the Founders Cup this year. Dan played forward over the spring for Carmel and began playing defense for a AA midget major spring team, the Avalanche.

Dan played JV hockey for Carmel as a freshman. He played both forward and defense. Spring of his freshman year he was double-rostered JV/Varsity.
