About Dalton Smith
Dalton is a 27-Year-Old Grad. at Maricopa High School in Maricopa, Arizona. He currently focuses on one sport, Football.
Starting RG for the Maricopa Rams varsity football team since day one of my freshman year. I have played full contact football since first grade in Texas before moving to Arizona. Currently I am 6'4" 255lbs as I prepare to enter my junior season. I have a 3.0 gpa and understand that I must focus on school work as much as I do on football. Maricopa made it to the State Playoffs last season for just the 2nd time in he past 30 years and we are looking forward to being the first Rams football team to reach that goal in back to back seasons. I consider myself a student of the game. I am very sound in my technique and understanding line calls, stunts, defensive alignments as well as reading and picking up the blitz. I believe run blocking is my strong suit and I love to pull on the sweep, roll outs and backside counters.I not only learn my responsibility on each play but every lineman's responsibility as well as the RB's. I believe that allows me to better understand where the play is going to shift to or the direction the back may cut to if the play breaks down to allow me to try and position myself to help him. I have made the O line calls since my freshman year and enjoy that challenge. I play with passion and pride. I am aggressive and violent on the field, I relish contact and look to strike hard and fast every play. I play hard and look to destroy whoever gets in my path but I also play within the rules . I love the game, it is my passion and I will fight and claw my way to a Division 1 scholarship. Anyone who doubts me and doubts my ability to achieve my goals simply doesn't know me. Those who don't stand with me stand against me and I will show them no mercy, nor will I ask for any.
