Colby Rosemond - Football Player

I started fullback until I was stripped from my opportunity to play it and a freshman was put in my spot. I had a case of fumble-itis but as did everyone else. No reason I was taken from the football position. I am a good receiving back. I caught all 3 passes that were thrown to me..wow. I started defensive tackle and defensive end in other games. I didn't get as many tackles or sacks as my junior year. Only 2 touchdowns at fullback again when if given the opportunity I could have helped the team out a lot more at that position and I know I could have helped lead to more victories without any doubt in my mind. A lot of people asked me why I wasn't playing fullback and I couldn't tell them and neither could my coach,funny huh? I've gotten past all that now and ready to make a name for myself in college. If I get an equal opportunity I will play.

I played fullback, linebacker, and defensive tackle. I got to play a good bit this year. I started at defensive tackle and had a great season. However, the only reward I got was the captain award. I got 40-50 tackles and about 6-8 sacks. I did okay at fullback but didn't get to play much there. I only made 2 touchdowns this whole year at fullback. This year I felt like I was definitely stripped of my chance to play fullback. Just seemed like there were favorites every year.

I played fullback and linebacker for junior varsity again. I got to play a little more. This year I got maybe 20-30 something tackles, I don't know the exact number. I got an interception at linebacker for about 40 yards. I got 3 sacks, maybe one or two more but not many. Again I felt like I wasn't given an equal opportunity and the only time I started at fullback was when our first string was out the whole week of practice because of an illness. At fullback I made 2 touchdowns this season.

I played fullback and linebacker my freshman year on junior varsity. I didn't really get to play that much. I didn't feel like I had an equal opportunity as most of the people but all coaches have their favorites..at least that's what it seems like.
