Andrew Iverson - Golfer

I shot an 81 and finished tied for 4th at the Bishop Carrol Invitational held at Auburn Hills in Wichita, KS. The conditions made for a pretty tough day. The wind blew about 25 with gusts up to 35-40 mph.
I shot an 83 and finished tied for 18th at the McPherson High School Invitational held at Turkey Creek in McPherson, Ks. The conditions again were pretty windy and I had multiple double bogeys which put me in a tough position but I finished in a respectable position even with the struggle.
I shot a 78 and finished tied for 5th at the Newton High School Invitational held at Sand Creek Station in Newton, KS.
I shot a 77 and finished tied for 5th at the Arkansas City High School Invitational held at Great Life Arkansas City Golf Course.
I shot an 83 at the Derby Invitational and tied for 3rd. The conditions were really tough. The winds were reported to be around 35mph with gusts up to 50mph.

Summer Tournaments:
Woody Austin Tournament at Tallgrass CC-Struggled on the first day but played more to my expectations on day 2. Finished 9th in the older age division.
South Central Kansas Junior Golf Sectionals - Winfield CC - 11th - 82, Cherry Oaks GC - 11th - 78, Wellington GC 16th - 81 and Tex Consolver 2nd - 69 (-3). I finished as the 7th rated junior golfer in the older age division in our section.
Kansas Boys Junior Championship - Quail Ridge GC - 82-83 and missed the final cut (top 15 in age group) by 2 strokes.
I have began working with Rick Hatfield, PGA Professional, to help with the fine tuning of my game that will help me succeed at the next level. My GHIN hdcp is at 1.3.

Tied for around 16th at our Regional Tournament - missed qualifying for State by 1 shot as an individual.
