OLIVIA ZWAYER, class of 2011, is a right handed, 5'10", 140lb., High School Junior combo guard/forward and Co-Captain for the Olentangy Lady Braves Varsity Basketball team. Her team was the 09'-10' and 10'-11" OCC Cardinal Division Champions and Central Ohio District runner-ups with 18-6 and 20-4 season records respectfully. She was a pivotal factor in helping her team turn around a previous 08'-09' season record of 6-15 into 2009-2011 league champions. Olivia has elite class speed, quickness, jumping ability, and natural skills. With a consistant vertical leap of 26", Olivia can touch 10 feet on a running jump. Olivia plays aggressive man to man and team defense, and is intimidating to all players with her leaping ability, speed and quickness. She loves to play uptempo and runs the floor offensively and defensively exceptionally well. She has an exceptional drive game, an excellent mid range jumper with excellent elevation off the dribble, and can shoot the ball behind the arc. Olivia is right handed, but is equally strong with the left hand, or going off either foot. She demonstrates a terrific team attitude, has a high basketball I/Q, is very coachable, and has a strong work ethic. Olivia works out daily on improving her game implementing various footwork, dribbling, shooting, speed, and quickness drills. She also works out on a Vertimax, pulls a sled, performs plyo box jumps and lifts weights as part of her training. Olivia has attended numerous basketball camps including Point Guard College the past two years. Her goals during this off season is to get bigger, stronger, and ready for college basketball. Olivia is a member of Lewis Center United Methodist Church where she is involved with the youth group's mission trip and other community volunteer charity work. She also is an instructor for Olentangy's youth basketball players. Olivia is a Ohio High School Scholar Athlete, and maintains a 3.3 gpa.
