Bengals lose LB Maualuga to ankle injury (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

Rookie Bengals linebacker Rey Maualuga hurt his left ankle late in the first quarter against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday and was ruled out for the rest of the game. Maualuga limped to the sideline, then was put on a cart and taken for an exam. The Bengals said he wouldn't return. The extent of his injury wasn't immediately known.
