Redskins to place Betts, Rinehart on IR (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

Running back Ladell Betts and guard Chad Rinehart are done for the season for the battered Washington Redskins. Coach Jim Zorn said Monday that Betts has damage to both the ACL and MCL in the left knee. Rinehart had surgery to repair a broken leg. Zorn said both will be placed on injured reserve.
