Redskins backup RB Betts gets hurt (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)
Washington Redskins running back Ladell Betts, the fill-in for injured Clinton Portis, was knocked out of the Dallas game with a left knee injury. Betts apparently got hurt on a hard tackle by Bradie James at the end of a 2-yard gain midway through the first quarter Sunday. Team trainers checked Betts' knee on the sideline, and a few minutes later it was announced he was out for the game.
