Stern 'optimistic' agreement with refs will come Friday (nba.com)

NBA commissioner David Stern met with reporters Thursday at the conclusion of this week's Board of Governors meetings and said that he's "optimistic" that the league's officials will approve a proposed agreement on a new contract Friday.
