White Sox, Kotsay agree to 1-year deal (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

The Chicago White Sox have agreed to terms on a one-year, $1.5-million contract with free agent infielder/outfielder Mark Kotsay. The 33-year-old Kotsay hit .278 with four home runs and 23 RBI in 67 games combined with Boston and the White Sox last season. Chicago acquired him from the Red Sox on July 28 in exchange for outfielder Brian Anderson.
