Marlins, RHP Nolasco agree on $3.8M deal (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

Right-hander Ricky Nolasco and the Florida Marlins have agreed to a $3.8 million, one-year contract, a raise of $1.4 million. Nolasco was 13-9 with a 5.06 ERA last season, down slightly from his 15-8 record in 2008. He missed a large part of 2007 because of elbow inflammation. In four seasons with the Marlins, Nolasco is 40-30 with a 4.43 ERA.
