Rays agree with C Navarro, RHP Cormier (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

Tampa Bay Rays catcher Dioner Navarro has agreed to a $2.1 million, one-year contract, avoiding arbitration. The Rays also reached one-year deals with right-hander Lance Cormier ($1.2 million) and lefty Randy Choate ($700,000) on Saturday night. Navarro hit .218 with eight homers and 32 RBIs in 115 games this season.
