Yoakum hires Kornegay (rivals.com)

The Yoakum school district board of trustees unanimously approved hiring Brent Kornegay and awarded him a two-year contract with a salary range of $65,000 to $70,000 a year. Kornegay comes to Yoakum from Orange Grove where he was the athletic director and head football coach for six seasons and had a 38-27 record that included five playoff appearances
