Branson Blows By Lions for TCA's 5A TAPPS Title (rivals.com)

The third time would be the charm for Trinity Christian as they took on district rival Prestwood Christian for the TAPPS 5A championship. Already beaten the Trojans twice this year by margins of two and 20 points, the Prestonwood Lions came into the game with confidence and all the reasons to make it a "hat trick" against the Trojans for the title. But it was a big start for TCA, as they jumped to a quick 12-2 first quarter lead and maintained it throughout the game by keeping the lead up around double-digits and finally winning by 14 points (64-50).
