Trice Pulls the Trigger (rivals.com)

The wait was worth it for 6-foot-5 shooting guard Jamaal Trice. After playing four years at national power Santa Ana Mater Dei high school, he decided to prep a year at Durham (N.C.) Mt. Zion Christian and wait for better offers before committing to a college. The right offer came last night and he called head coach Jim Calhoun this morning and accepted the offer to play at the University of Connecticut.
