The point guard is often considered to be the "brains" of a basketball team. He can dictate the tempo for his team on offense while directing the defensive positioning and sets. Michael Cubit is that type of point guard. A starter for Hiram Johnson the past two seasons, Cubit has transferred back to Pleasant Grove for his senior year.
