Keiland Williams ran for 116 yards and two second-half touchdowns, helping No. 9 LSU fend off upset-minded Louisiana Tech 24-16 on Saturday night. Williams' first score, on a powerful 3-yard run that moved the pile, gave LSU (8-2) a 17-13 lead midway through third quarter. His 9-yard TD in the fourth quarter made it a two-score game with a little over seven minutes to go.
