Modifying cast may let Cincy's Pike play (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

Quarterback Tony Pike is having the cast on his left arm modified so he'll have a better chance to play for No. 5 Cincinnati. Pike sat out a 41-10 victory over Louisville on Saturday, four days after having surgery on his non-throwing forearm. He had a plate replaced in the arm, and a bulky cast was applied.
