Slain UConn CB Howard remembered at game (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)
A moment of silence was held in memory of slain Connecticut cornerback Jasper Howard before the Huskies' game at No. 22 West Virginia on Saturday. The crowd at Mountaineer Field gave UConn a lengthy ovation as the Huskies took the field. West Virginia coach Bill Stewart gave Connecticut's Randy Edsall a hug and players from the teams exchanged handshakes before kickoff.
