Cincy WR Hazelton not eligible for 2009 (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

The NCAA has denied Cincinnati receiver Vidal Hazelton's request to be eligible to play this season. NCAA rules require players who transfer from one major college team to another to sit out one season. Hazelton transferred to Cincinnati from Southern California to be closer to his cancer-stricken grandfather in Georgia.
