NCAA denies FSU's Surrency another year (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

The NCAA has denied Florida State's request to grant senior receiver Corey Surrency another year of eligibility. Florida State says it will appeal Monday's decision and expects to have a final resolution in three to five weeks. Coach Bobby Bowden declined to comment on the NCAA's decision after Monday's practice.
