Boston College Eagles linebacker Mike McLaughlin out for spring with torn Achill (espn.com)

Boston College starting linebacker Mike McLaughlin, the Eagles' second-leading tackler in 2008, tore his Achilles during a routine conditioning drill last week and is out for the spring, a school spokesman said Monday.
