Tide booster awarded $5M wants new trial (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

An Alabama football booster who won $5 million in a slander lawsuit against the NCAA has given up collecting the money and will instead push for a new trial. A lawyer for Ray Keller said Monday the Alabama timber dealer is now seeking a second trial. A jury in Scottsboro awarded Keller $5 million in 2007.
