Rhode Island to name successor to Rizzi (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

The University of Rhode Island will announce a new coach to lead its football team. Athletic Director Thorr Bjorn plans to make the announcement during a news conference late Friday morning. The new coach will replace Darren Rizzi, who stepped down to take an assistant coaching position with the Miami Dolphins.
