Irish hire Hart to coach defensive line (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

Randy Hart, the defensive line coach at Washington for the past 21 years, was hired as defensive line coach at Notre Dame on Saturday. "We wanted someone that was a high-energy coach that could develop our young defensive line," coach Charlie Weis said. The 60-year-old Hart replaces Jappy Oliver, who left Notre Dame last month.
