Michigan St. WR pleads guilty of assault (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

Michigan State receiver Mitchell White has pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery. White of Livonia entered his plea Wednesday in connection with an Oct. 19 fight off campus that briefly hospitalized Michigan State hockey player A.J. Sturges. White's sentencing is set for March 16.
