Miami to take charter buses on 2 trips (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

Miami will take charter buses to football games at Central Florida and South Florida this fall instead of flying as part of cost-cutting efforts at the university. The decision by Hurricanes coach Randy Shannon will save the school $140,000, athletic director Kirby Hocutt said Tuesday. Miami's athletic department is installing a 44-point plan to trim spending in this "critical time," Hocutt said.
