Washington's Michalczik joins Raiders (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

New Washington offensive coordinator Jim Michalczik (Muh-HALL-check) has left the program to take a job with the Oakland Raiders. The school made the announcement Monday, less than a week after new coach Steve Sarkisian (Sar-KEE-zhun) and his staff wrapped up their first recruiting class. Michalczik's exact position with the Raiders was not immediately known.
