SMU's Pittman suspended amid rape charge (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

SMU backup defensive lineman Torlan Pittman has been suspended indefinitely following his arrest on a rape charge. Huntsville police Capt. Wes Altom says the 20-year-old Pittman and another man accused of raping a woman in September at a Huntsville apartment were arrested Monday. It wasn't immediately clear Tuesday whether Pittman was still being held.
