Washington RB Polk has shoulder surgery (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

Running back Chris Polk won't be available for Washington's spring practice after having shoulder surgery for the second time in two years. Coach Steve Sarkisian said Friday that Polk had his shoulder "cleaned out" and would miss spring practice. He's expected to be ready for fall.
