Petersen, Boise St. agree to 5-year deal (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

Boise State coach Chris Petersen has agreed to a 5-year contract through 2014. The school announced the agreement at Fiesta Bowl media day on Friday. Financial terms were not revealed and athletic director Gene Bleymaier said details were being completed. The deal must be approved by the state board of education.
