Princeton hires Surace as head coach (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

Cincinnati Bengals assistant Bob Surace has been hired as football coach at Princeton University, his alma matter. The center on the Tigers' 1989 Ivy League championship team, Surace (suh-RACE) was to be formally introduced Wednesday. He replaces Roger Hughes, who was fired last month after 10 seasons at the school in New Jersey.
