Mid. Tenn. beats S. Miss. in New Orleans (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

Dwight Dasher threw two touchdowns and rushed for two more as Middle Tennessee stretched its winning streak to seven straight games by beating Southern Mississippi 42-32 in the New Orleans Bowl on Sunday night. Dasher completed 15 of 25 for 162 yards and ran for 201 yards to give him 1,175 on the season.
