Kansas' Gill adds Torbush, Long to staff (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

Mississippi State defensive coordinator Carl Torbush is leaving to take the same job at Kansas. The move was announced Monday by new Jayhawks coach Turner Gill. The Bulldogs are coming off a 5-7 season in which they went 3-5 in the Southeastern Conference. Torbush was a head coach at Louisiana Tech and North Carolina and defensive coordinator at Alabama, Ole Miss and Texas A&M.
