Zook to return as Illini coach for 2010 (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

Ron Zook will be back at Illinois next season. Illinois spokesman Kent Brown confirmed Friday that Zook won't be fired. Zook's future at Illinois had been the subject of speculation among fans and others after a 3-9 season. The Illini have had two straight losing seasons after 2007's 9-4 campaign that included a trip to the Rose Bowl.
