LSU's Miles hopes QB Jefferson will play (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

LSU coach Les Miles says Jordan Jefferson is expected to practice all week and the Tigers are hopeful the quarterback will be able to play at Mississippi after missing the last game with a sprained right ankle. Jefferson sat out last week's 24-16 victory over Louisiana Tech. Jarrett Lee filled in, completing 7 of 22 passes for 105 yards.
