No. 15 Florida State beats North Florida, 79-50 (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

Jacinta Monroe led Florida State with 16 points as the Seminoles opened their regular season Friday with a 79-50 win against North Florida. The Seminoles, who led by as many as 39, allowed the Ospreys to score just two first-half points in the paint and held the Ospreys scoreless for more than 12 minutes in the first half.
