Kristin Daugherty scored 17 points and Dayton upset No. 10 Michigan State 77-74 on Friday night in the season opener for both teams. Kendel Ross scored 14, including four free throws in the final 15.8 seconds, and Justine Raterman added 13 for the Flyers, who returned all five starters from last season's squad.
