Northwestern's Coble considering surgery (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

Northwestern forward Kevin Coble said Friday he is considering surgery after hurting his left foot in practice Tuesday. The 6-foot-8 senior is going to see a specialist Monday. Northwestern opened its season Friday night against Northern Illinois. With surgery, Coble would miss about four months before he would even be able to begin his rehabilitation.
