COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP)Jantel Lavender had 24 points and 13 rebounds to lead No. 3 Ohio State to a 91-68 win Friday against visiting Eastern Illinois in the first round of the preseason Women's National Invitational Tournament. Sarah Schulze had a career-high 18 points and reserve Andrea Walker added 10 for Ohio State in the season opener for both teams.
