Maya Moore scored 33 points as top-ranked Connecticut defeated Vanguard 98-68 on Monday night in an exhibition game. Junior Lorin Dixon, among the candidates to replace Renee Montgomery as the Huskies starting point guard, sustained a left hamstring injury when attempting a layup with 15:42 remaining in the first half.
