Kansas G Buford gets diversion for DUI (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

A second Kansas basketball player has been given a chance to wipe his record clean of drunken-driving charges. The Lawrence prosecutor's office says 21-year-old Chase Buford must pay $802 in fees. He is not allowed to consume alcohol or drugs for one year and must undergo substance abuse treatment.
