Calhoun collapses, suffers 5 broken ribs (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

UConn men's basketball coach Jim Calhoun has been hospitalized after he collapsed following a 50-mile charity bicycle ride during which he fell and broke five ribs. Calhoun was taken to the UConn Health Center in Farmington on Saturday, where he was to be held overnight for observation and released Sunday.
