S. Carolina's Downey pulls out of draft (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

South Carolina's Devan Downey says he is withdrawing from the NBA draft and returning to school. The all-Southeastern Conference guard said Saturday he decided to come back to the Gamecocks for his senior season after working out for several NBA teams. Downey averaged 19.8 points and 4.5 assists, ranking third in the SEC in both categories.
