FDU tabs assistant Vetrone interim coach (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

Less than a week after firing longtime coach Tom Green, Fairleigh Dickinson has hired assistant Greg Vetrone as interim coach through next season. The hiring was announced Tuesday by athletic director David Langford, who acknowledged last week that the late timing of Green's dismissal might prompt the school to choose an interim coach.
